Quaternary Ammonium Hydroxides and Salts are unique materials used in several specialty chemical areas. (Austin, TX) November 30, 2007 –­SACHEM announced today that it will raise prices for its entire line of Quaternary Ammonium Hydroxides and Quaternary Ammonium Salts sold into the Specialties Markets worldwide approximately 8 percent, effective January 1, 2008 or as current contracts allow. Specifically, the increase affects all grades of SACHEM’s families of quaternary ammonium salts and hydroxides as well as neutralized products.
