Austin, TX –Thursday, May 08, 2014 SACHEM is pleased to announce that Eric Riden will be joining the company as Vice President, Global Supply Chain, reporting directly to John Mooney, President and CEO of SACHEM, Inc. Mr. Riden will be responsible for all global operations, strategic procurement and logistics activities within the company.
After an extensive search, Mr. Riden was selected from an impressive list of candidates. He joins us from the Clariant Corporation where he was in operations management for eight years including Head of Procurement, North America and an assignment as the North American Master Black Belt for Clariant Excellence. Previously, Mr. Riden was with Air Products for 17 years, serving in various production responsibilities, including three plant manager positions. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Houston. He has been a successful coach and mentor and demonstrated the ability to drive business improvements beyond the field of manufacturing. Riden states, “I am looking forward to working with a company that is firmly committed to the success of its associates, clients, and shareholders at a global level.”
Over the next few weeks Mr. Riden will be visiting SACHEM’s world-class manufacturing facilities in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Eric, his wife Loryn and their 4 children will be moving to Austin during the summer. Besides family, one of Eric’s outside personal interests is in little league baseball coaching.
