One component of a MLCC is a dielectric paste which contains advanced ceramic powders. Many of these powders are based upon barium titanate and barium strontium titanate but often include carefully controlled levels of other specific elements.   Regardless of the elemental make up of the ceramic powder, consistent particle size, purity, shape  and dispersion properties are paramount in development of new technologies for manufacturing MLCCs.SACHEM’s high purity organic hydroxides will assist ceramic powder manufacturers in reaching the aggressive industry goals required for thin layer dielectric materials.  In addition, use of SACHEM’s hydroxides will also ensure production of ceramic powders with low halide and low metal contaminants which will also prolong the life and enhance performance of the capacitor.
