SACHEM is searching for a Laboratory Analyst to work in our Quality Control department in Cleburne, Texas. This position is responsible for accurate and timely analysis and dispatch of raw materials, and control and final lot samples under the supervision of the lab supervisor.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Timely and accurate analyses of raw materials, finished products and in-process products in a Quality Control Laboratory
- Preparation and standardization of analytical reagents
- Calibration and maintenance of analytical equipment
- Support of analytical and quality method development through routine analysis and special studies
- Statistical control charting of analytical and quality audits through recording of data
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work with accuracy and precision
- Knowledge of chemical concepts and theories and successful completion of regulatory and job training requirements
- Wet Chemistry experience
- Familiarity with a variety of laboratory equipment such as GC-MS, HPLC, ICP-MS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural manuals
- Flexibility to work 12 hour night or day shifts with variable time off between rotations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years’ experience
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Hiring Manager
