SACHEM to highlight new production facility in China and feature SelectEtch™ product line at exhibit. Austin, TX – March 14, 2008 -SACHEM, Inc. announced today that it will present a technical paper and exhibit at SEMICON China 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China. The focus of the exhibit will be on SACHEM’s new manufacturing facility in Wuxi, China. The conference is scheduled for March 18-20, 2008 in Shanghai.
SACHEM’s newest manufacturing facility in Wuxi includes state-of-the-art technology for high purity Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) production, a key material in semiconductor and TFT-LCD panel manufacturing. In addition to TMAH, the facility will manufacture other specialty performance products for SACHEM’s customers in the catalyst, carbohydrate and starch industries. Also, included in the Wuxi facility is a research and development center which will support existing products and customers and new product development.
The Wuxi facility is a master planned site which encompasses a complete infrastructure design and layout for ease of future expansions. The facility includes high purity packaging systems, clean room facilities and a fully equipped high purity analytical laboratory with latest instrument technology including ICP-MS.
SACHEM’s SelectEtch™ SE-1220 and SelectEtch™ SE-1100 will be featured products . SelectEtch™SE-1220 is an advanced contact cleaner that successfully removes etch-generated residues from the bottom and sides of advanced contact features without damage to sensitive dielectric films. SelectEtch™ SE-1100 is a fluoride containing, semi-aqueous etchant designed for removing thermal and doped oxides selectively to silicon nitrides. Mr. Russell Stevens, Business Development Manager for SACHEM, will present a paper outlining features of the SelectEtch™ line titled “Advancements in Wet Etching and Cleaning for sub-90 nm Manufacturing” at the China Semiconductor Materials International Conference 2008 on Thursday, March 20th at 3:20 pm. The conference is being held at the Inter-Continental Hotel Pudong.
