SACHEM announces the introduction of a family of displacers for oligonucleotide purification using anion exchange chromatography.

Austin, TX – May 15, 2007 – SACHEM announces the introduction of a family of displacers foroligonucleotide purification using anion exchange chromatography. Especially powerful for separating oligonucleotide mixtures, Propell™ Q displacers and displacement chromatography offer a simple way to convert analytical columns into extremely effective tools for obtaining large volumes of highly purified oligonucleotides. Selectively designed to have the necessary affinity for the targeted chromatography media, these novel displacers drive oligonucleotides off the column at high concentration and high purity, and are easily removed from the column. The purified oligonucleotides can generally be used without additional processing.

 

Intended for use with anion exchange chromatography, Propell™ Q offers an effective alternative to scaling reverse phase chromatography, and can isolate large quantities (100+ mg) of purified oligonucleotides in a single run. Only the last few fractions of the last component will contain Propell™ Q.
