Austin, TX – January 16, 2009 – SACHEM, Inc. is pleased to announce Jerry Windisch as Vice President and General Manager of SACHEM Americas. Jerry comes back to the US after serving as president of SACHEM Asia for 3 years. Jerry’s leadership at SACHEM Asia saw a period of rapid expansion, such as the implementation of the Mobius System™, a recycle program for tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) in Higashi-Osaka, Japan. The Mobius System’s™ recycle technology can reduce consumption of valuable raw materials, decrease capital requirements for organic waste treatment, and increase process consistency.
Jerry also led the construction and implementation of an 80,000 sq. meters production facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu, P.R.C. The facility includes state-of-the-art technology for high purityTetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) production, a key material in semiconductor and TFT-LCD panel manufacturing. The facility includes high purity packaging systems, clean room facilities and a fully equipped high purity analytical laboratory with latest instrument technology including ICP-MS.
And, most recently, Jerry performed an integral part of SN Tech Corporation, SACHEM’s joint venture with Nagase & Co., Ltd., to jointly market SACHEM’s Mobius System™ TMAH recycle technology within Asia. The new company, SN Tech Corporation is based Osaka, Japan and utilizes SACHEM’s current TMAH recycle facility as its base of operations. His experience and leadership will provide keen insight as SACHEM expands in existing markets and grows into new ones in the Americas and throughout the world.
