Austin, TX Thursday December 8, 2016 SACHEM is continuously seeking talented individuals to add to our technology team. With the rise in population and increase in regulations, the Structured Materials industry is growing quickly. After a comprehensive national search and assessment of some very qualified candidates, Cédrick Mahieux joined the SACHEM family on October 24, 2016 as the new Structured Materials Technology Leader, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, Ari K. Kar, Ph.D.
In this key position, Cédrick is responsible for extensive internal teamwork and external collaboration to identify new business development opportunities, and develop, implement and manage our technology roadmap and project portfolio for the Structured Materials catalyst segment.
Prior to starting his industrial career, Cédrick earned his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in France. He has international internship and post-doctoral research experience as well. As an experienced researcher and technology leader he has a proven track record of innovation and collaboration in a complex multi-disciplinary environment. Cédrick has spent the past eight years in technology development and project leadership roles in the catalysis division at Chevron Corporation. Cédrick brings a strong background in synthetic, organic and medicinal chemistry, IP creation, and problem solving skills. As a result of this experience, Cédrick is well prepared to lead this technology area and fuel growth for the company.
